Test Modeling using Action Words

Introduction | Team | Publications |

Introduction

The purpose of the TEMA project is to research automated testing of software concentrating on testing through graphical user interfaces. Our goal is to develop a method and a tool platform to facilitate testing in this context. The focus is on model-based testing automating not only the execution of test cases but also their generation. The method will be based on test models, which specify the behavior of the system under test from the perspective of testing. The test models comprise logical and reusable components, which are composed using tools developed in earlier projects. In test execution, we utilize commercial tools used in industry by extending them for the purposes of executing test cases generated from test models.

Partners

TEMA is funded by TEKES and the following companies: Nokia, Conformiq Software, F-Secure, and Plenware.
