JavaFrames Eclipse Integration 2.0.0
Download JavaFrames 2.0.0 (9MB)
See a screenshot
JavaFrames makes the Eclipse platform to be an architecture-oriented
programming environment that supports object-oriented Java frameworks
as well as architectural standards and conventions by the means of
programming tasks. In JavaFrames, a set of patterns is used to describe
the required specialization of a framework, while the tool takes these
patterns as input and produces small and practical programming tasks
as output. If the programmer violates some pattern specifications,
and in that way the frameworks specialization rules, a repair task is
generated to fix the situation.
To install JavaFrames, remove ealier versions (if any) from the
Eclipse's "plugins" directory and unzip the installation package
to that directory. Launch Eclipse and open the JavaFrames Guide
by selecting it with the "Help/Help Contents" menu command; you
should go through the tutorial. Open the JavaFrames perspective
with the "Window/Open Perspective/Other..." menu command to start
using JavaFrames.
NOTE: This version requires JRE 1.4 and Eclipse 3.0 for Windows
98/ME/2000/XP. See
www.eclipse.org to download
Eclipse.
